The new face of justice in Monongalia County is Ron Bane for Magistrate.
Ron Bane recognizes all 20 duties and responsibilities for which Magistrates use their training and sound judgment are vitally important. Bane however has priority concern for issues involving protective orders for domestic violence or mental hygiene, search warrants and arrest warrants, as well as situations that might put serious risks to public safety on our local streets.
Bane is committed to Monongalia County’s future.
In declaring his precandidacy, Ron Bane welcomes the opportunity to talk with citizens about their priorities and preferences for our local judiciary. Bane says, “I plan to campaign on working through the challenging situations our community faces and working with others as appropriate to foster solutions. Whether you want to learn about me, contact me, volunteer with me or donate to my campaign, visit my website (https://RonBane.com/).”
“Anyone who wants to work for the betterment of Monongalia County, should contact my campaign online or otherwise,” notes Bane. To lead his 2020 Vote Bane campaign, Bane has named Wes Nugent as Treasurer and Campaign Manager. Mr. Nugent previously served with Bane for six years on the Morgantown City Council. Welcoming the chance to work with Bane again, Nugent says, “there are few people for whom I’d actively campaign. Bane has been at the top of my ballot since we met in 2006. Bane commits to his work and my sense is he will likely develop a reputation in our legal and law enforcement communities as a workhorse on our local bench.”
